Local drive-time tier
ingston runs from compact Victorian terraces in the town centre out to the much larger plots up in Coombe and Kingston Hill — some of the longest boundary runs we do in the KT postcodes are up there, 30–50 metre full perimeters. New Malden and Berrylands are mostly 1930s semis with manageable rear gardens. Riverside houses on the Hampton Court side have their own thing going on — older brick walls under newer fence panels are common.
Visit fee is £50 — KT1/KT2/KT3/KT5/KT6 are all Local tier (about 20 minutes upriver from us). Most streets have rear or driveway access. Town-centre KT1 is resident-permit and we drop materials early. Non-refundable and not deducted from the job.

What we get asked for here
Most-requested fences in Kingston.
- 01
Closeboard with concrete posts
Default for Norbiton, New Malden and Berrylands — clay-loam soil shifts timber posts faster than concrete.
- 02
Hit-and-miss perimeter runs
Most popular on the larger Coombe and Kingston Hill plots — same look both sides over long shared boundaries.
- 03
Closeboard on brick base
Riverside houses Hampton Court side often have an original 600mm brick wall — we fit timber on top rather than rip out.

Why goodfence
Why Kingston homeowners pick us over a random trade.
Founder-led, end to end
GoodFence is a small London company founder-led. We quote every Kingston job ourselves, run the install, and stand behind the work. One contract, one number, one company on the hook — not a directory, not a stranger off a phonebook.
Fixed price, no day-of surprises
The price you sign off doesn't move unless the ground itself tells us otherwise — and if it does, we put any change in writing before we touch a tool. One quote, one number to call.
Specced for Bromley clay
Concrete posts on exposed runs, pressure-treated rails, proper feather-edge. We spec the materials so the bits that matter don't get shortcut.
"Storm took out two panels and a post, ended up replacing the whole run. Same-day price, fitted ten days later. Straightforward from start to finish."
